window size
Hi, i try to choose the window size for the windowed recurrence quantification analysis of soccer games. I used the method from Dr. Marvan's diploma thesis. I took increasing window size over the data and calculated the RQA values (wmin = 20 and wmax = 800) . For these i computed the average and the...

Re: JRP Function
Dear Norbert,
if i use the crp2 function and use the x- and y component directly as the two-dimensional phase space trajectory, i have different delays for x and y. for example 26 and 8. Is there a rule to determine the delay in this case?
Regards,
Denise

Re: JRP Function
Hi Norbert,
thank you for your advices! I will try the CRP2 function, but how can I plot R1 or JR after that?
Best regards

Re: JRP Function
Hi, i just asked before about the embedding parameters, but I found my mistake. :o Now I have a question about the computation of recurrence plots for multiple time series. I try to analyse the positional data (X,Y) of each soccer player for each second in a soccer game. Thus I have 44 time series w...

Re: time delay
Dear Prof. Marwan, thank you very much for the immediate answer. I will try to specifying my data: I have the positional data (X and Y) of all players for each tenth of each second over the whole soccer game. I have already computed some "global" recurrence plots (with c#) based on the cor...

Re: time delay
Hi, i try to generate a recurrence plot of a soccer match. Hence, I have lots of time series: two for each player in the soccer game. I read the post about calculating the embedding m and i read the paper "nonlinear time series analysis " from Kantz et al. to get more information about cal...
