%DET in COM position data

Post by Darya »

Hello everyone!

I am trying to use RQA for feature extraction from COM position data (acquired at 118 Hz) to caracterize postural sway in different groups of subjects.
After reading several references for parameter selection, I used m=7, t=10 and r=0.2. This led to smoothly varying %REC within 1-5% range. But it is interesting, that %DET is almost 100% for all subjects and I tried to change values of RQA parameters, always having the same result (%DET close to 100%).
I can't understand the meaning of this, I would like to use some help! Is there anything that I am doing wrong?
Thank you so much for your attention.

Sincerely,
Darya Yelshyna
