Post by albernathy0 »

Hi Dr. Marwan,

I am confused by the ordering of the output of the CRQA toolbox.

My confusions:

1) In the GUI, T1 becomes RTE when "apply" is clicked. The value when "stored" is outputed to Y(:,9), which the manual states is T1. Why then does T1 become renamed to RTE in the GUI? Is this a software mistake?

2) The T2 value displayed in the GUI, when outputted, is placed in Y(:,11), which the manual states is RTE [not T2]. Comparing the GUI with the "stored" output, T2 has discrepant values.

3) When I calculate the RPDE of my time series using the RPDE function with the same parameters as in the GUI, I get discrepant entropy values. Shouldn't the RPDE be similar to Y(:,11)? And Y(:,11) is the T2 value (not the RTE value)!

So is there a mismatch between the ordering of output, or the GUI display?

Thank you greatly,
Alex Wong

Hi Alex,

thank you very much for this bug report. I will have check. Perhaps it is a bug in the code.

Best regards
