VRA and RQA software

Did anyone compare the results of the VRA software of Eugene Kononov and the RQA software of Chuck Webber? Are there differences?

yes. firstly Dr. webber's software has no graphical user interface, but is free. Dr. webbers software can be used for batch files and is therefore, to me, much more useful for my purposes and has more programs and types of recurrence analysis availble. However, if I just want to work with a small data set I use VRA. it is useful for finding good parameters to use.

Thank you very much. But I would like to know whether there are numerical differences in the results between both programmes.

I went through a significant amount of testing to make sure that RQA results match those calculated in VRA. All RQA variables should match exactly. Please let me know if you notice any discrepancies.

If you have Matlab, you can also use the CRP toolbox. This would allow you to write a script for a batch processing of many files.
