SInce version 5 of the CRP toolbox for Matlab, a fast, pre-compiled plugin is available (based on the commandline recurrence plot programme written in C++). If installed, the CRP toolbox will automatically use this plugin. It provides a much faster computation of RPs and their quantification and enables the handling of longer data series (but not too long) with Matlab. It is available at http://www.agnld.uni-potsdam.de/~marwan ... plugin.php.
At the moment the operating systems True64 OSF1, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, OS X and Dos/Win are supported.
