i'm new to this forum, and this question might be asked before:

In which cases the diagonal recurrence plot starts in upper left corner and
in which cases it starts in lower left corner?

Thanks!

Hello,

assuming you mean the line of identity, i.e. R(i,i) = 1, for i = 1:N, then the diagonal starts at (1,1) and ends at (N,N). The way you plot the recurrence matrix is completely free. Somebody plots it with (1,1) in the upper left corner, others with (1,1) in the lower left corner. It is just necessary to label the axes correctly.

Best regards
