RECURRENCE PLOTS

Hi, I am trying to use the CRP toolbox to carry out recurrence quantification analysis of cardiac reactivity time series data. However, as a complete MATLAB beginner I am looking for a basic reference manual or book on using the CRP toolbox. I would like an explanation of simple concepts such as creating the data series, the format etc., and building from there. A basic example would really help as well.
